My jogging has been going well. I cut back to only doing a 1/2 mile on a dirt path, rather than 1 whole mile on the road. I still walk/jog about 1.5 miles….just not pushing myself to jog a whole mile any more. My hip no longer hurts 🙂 I read (in that Couch to 5k training guide) that it’s important to work out at one fitness level (maintenance) for a while before pursuing the next level.
I’m also doing some biking and roller blading, often with my kids. I’m becoming a bit of an exercise nut and am trying to make my kids be that way too. It really feels good.
I haven’t lost any weight since starting to exercise. My clothes feel a bit loser, so I figure I’m adding muscle and losing fat.
