This really throws a monkey wrench into the ‘high cadence’ is best theory! I have been doing my brick workouts where I spin at a high cadence in the last mile – even if going uphill – to give me fast feet on the run. This seems to be working well for me. I think I will keep this plan for my Rev 3 Tri race since that is only 26 days away, and I don’t want to change up what I am doing now! I will experiment with this concept afterwards. It’s one of those things, tho, that how do you judge what works best? Oh, never mind, the author explains how to do some testing! Now, go read it!
