I was feeling unmotivated and sluggish today. And – I’m still feeling bloated from eating too much the past few days. Funny how when I eat too much, I feel less energetic and less motivated to work out, which is really bad, because that is when I most need to burn off some calories.
I’m supposed to do a bike workout on the trainer, but blew it off all day. After dinner, I still didn’t feel like it, and I really didn’t want to get all sweaty and need a shower. In the end, I mustered up enough will power to do the stability ball core workout. Nice thing about that workout is that I don’t get sweaty.
Once I got started, it wasn’t so bad -perhaps even slightly enjoyable. I’m happy I did it, too, because I haven’t been doing this twice a week as I should, and I really notice that having a strong core helps in all three sports.
BTW, I was in Target recently, and saw that core workout dvd for sale near the Yoga gear. I do two reps of the advanced workout twice weekly. I also do the push-ups from the intermediate workout. (I don’t understand why they don’t have the pushups as part of the advanced workout!)
FYI –
I calculated my calories burned using your blog and compared it to my heart rate monitor. There was a 1 calorie difference.
