I need a new Tri Top!

I need a new triathlon racing top, women’s size medium. I thought I’d try begging for one, ala Steve in a Speedo?! Gross! style. Once he wrote about all the products he loved, and asked manufacturer’s to send him free samples. I think he got some free socks out of that deal.

I love NUUN! I use it for both training and racing. NUUN played a large role in my great performance at Bandit’s. So, if the good people at NUUN are monitoring the blogsphere, and have a team NUUN tri top laying around, send it to me, okay? I would be a great NUUN ambassador. Actually, I already am. I talk about it on my blog alot, and I carry a tube in races now, and at Bandit’s, I told several people about it.

I also love Gu. I use Gu for both training and racing. A Gu every 45 minutes for training, every 30 for racing. My last Gu during a race is always the Espresso flavor, with 2X caffeine. My favorite flavor is Orange Burst. I always buy the 24 pack boxes.

I would be willing to switch to Hammer Gel if the folks at Hammer sent me a tri top. The main reason I use Gu over Hammer gel, is it’s easier to find in stores. I love the Apple flavor of Hammer gel.

I use two Fuel Belt products. The Terminator six bottle fuel belt for my long runs gives me 42 ounces of water. It’s hot here in NC, so I need lots of water for my long runs. And I have a fuel box sits on the top tube of my bike for training and longer races, to hold stuff like Gu. I love these two Fuel Belt products.

I have a Profile Design aero drink bottle. I love this product, as I can drink water while staying in the aero position. I saw a study once that showed using an aero bottle helps save a few seconds in a 40k time trial by improving your aerodynamics.

I love my new Louis Garneau Rocket helmet. It’s a no brainer that this saves time in a 40k time trial. Studies show that it saves about 90 seconds. Thank you, Louis Garneau, for the free speed!

Note that I have had podium finishes at all my races this season. I could be wearing a top with your logo on it while standing up there! Check out my 2008 Race Photos.
