I discovered a great Ironman video on another tri blog. (Scroll down to see the video.)
I love watching videos of races. And I love Youtube. And, Yes, I want to be an Ironman someday. Do you?

Ironman Video: Eat, Sleep, Swim, Bike, Run, Eat Sleep…a compilation of ironman vidoes to give you the feel of what it takes:

Aw, the video has gone.
Jonathan – I feel the same way – I’d love to do it, but can’t justify the time it would take away from my family for the training. When the kids are all off to college and beyond I will (in 5 years). I just hope I’m still physically able then. Happy workouts, Carol
Yes I would like to be. To fit the training into increasingly busy lives is very difficult. I have the utmost respect for athletes with families and other responsibilities who compete at ironman.
As an age group athlete, (one who doesn’t get paid) it is an understanding family indeed who accepts that there mum/dad will be busy for large parts of the next 6 months training, away at coaching weekends, tinkering with bikes etc
It is a sacrifice that I can’t ask my family to make at this time
Is that an excuse? Maybe but after all, this is only my hobby…
I LOVE Youtube videos. I like to watch Team Hoyt videos when I’m having a lack of motivation! I think I’ve watched every Tri video on youtube. I keep checking for new ones!
Train hard.
