I was complaining to my husband recently about something, I can't even remember what we were talking about. His response was "Less QQ, More Pew Pew". I asked him what the heck that meant.
He's an avid World of Warcraft gamer. Apparently, "Less QQ, More Pew Pew", means less complaining, and more shooting the enemy. QQ supposedly looks like a face with tears, and pew pew is onomopia for the sound a gun makes.
Hmmm, much as I was miffed by his comment, he's right that I do tend to be a negatoid and complain alot. So, for the past ten days, I've been trying to think of only positive things to write about in my blog. The result has been writer's block: I can't think of what to say! The words don't naturally flow from fingers to keyboard when I'm not just typing what I am feeling.
QQ:
Sorry if there is too much QQ in my blog. But that's what this blog is…an outlet for my struggles in triathlon training. If you get anything out of reading this stuff, it should be that no matter what disappointments lie in the path ahead – you must keep tri-ing!
Pew Pew:
On a lighter note – have you seen the Mr. T World of Warcraft commerial? It's hilarious…M. T ROCKS!

If we had less talk and more show, how we learn anything! Your blog is like hitting that perfect gear on the bike–so keep it up and don’t try to downshift.

Carol,
I’ve been reading your blog for over a year now… In fact, the more I think about it, I believe it’s closer to two years since I first started reading. Anyway, I’ve never once thought that you were too negative (QQ) on your blog. Without sounding rude, I want you to know that I find some sort of “relief” when I read about your struggles and failures, ’cause I can almost guarantee you that me or somebody else who reads your blog can totally relate to your struggles, yet your perseverence (sp?) inspires me (us) to continue and keep tri-ing. My opinion is that you should write about whateve you want to. You’re a great writer, and I check nearly every day to see what’s new. Write about what you FEEL…don’t worry about anyone else but you! And get over that writer’s block! :^)
Thanks again for sharing,
Chary
