I went running yesterday for 39 minutes (a long run for me). I did 3 miles, thus I am running a 13 minute mile. That’s not too bad for me, but is slow for most people.
I felt really off, but plodded thru the workout anyway. Here are some excuses why I felt off:
- I bought a new pair of running shoes (same brand and size). My old shoes are 9 months old, and I wanted to start rotating.
It was 70 degrees…hotter than I like it.
My left hip hurt. It’s been a nagging thing ever since I started running

My left foot hurt too. Being over 40 really sucks.
It’s also that time of the month, and I feel bloated.
