Pace Calculator

Just found this really neat tool to estimate race paces and workouts based on prior race times:

http://www.mcmillanrunning.com/mcmillanrunningcalculator.htm

I googled “triathlon pace calculator” because I was looking at my next race and figuring what bike pace I would need in order to do decently in that race, and found this neat pace calculator:

www.triadtriteam.com

Here’s another pace calculator at the same site that helped me figure out what running pace I would need to be able to do in training to acheive a given race result.

I’m definitely not going to acheive my goal of placing in the top 3 in my age group at the Aug 4th race. I just didn’t get my act together in time due to job stress. I will make my race goal for Duke Half (under 6 hours) and Pinehurst (top 3). Saying I will is the first step :-), right?

  • Hey Carol-
I rode with you two weekends ago, and just found your website. Very cool. You seemed very strong on our ride so I think you'll do great at the Duke Half. Happy training!
