I remembered something else that my tri coach brought up in our meeting. He is a proponent of Pose Running, and said Pose running should feel like doing a hamstring leg curl on the stability ball. It will use the same muscles: hamstring for lifting the feet and core/hips for stabilizing the upper body. An advanced form of the exercise is one legged (yikes – I can’t do that!).
