Ran a 5 Mile Race and feel great (Bay Days Race, Ohio)

I’ve been focusing on the Chi Running. I am getting the hang of it. It still feels awkward and I feel like it uses more energy (not less as the book claims). I do think my hip pain is improving 😀 Maybe once I really get the hang of it, it will feel more natural.

I ran a 5 mile race yesterday. My time was 57:29.5, which is my personal best time of 11:30/M…yeah!!! I feel great today and don’t feel pain at all in my feet or hips.

The atmosphere at both race events I did was very low key and fun. At leat that’s how it is in the back of the pack. Maybe it’s more intense at the front of the pack. I doubt I will ever know – Ha Ha!

Update July 29, 2006: I have recently changed my mind about ChiRunning, and now follow the Pose Method of running. Click here to read why.
