Raw footage of me running

After I did the webcam thing, I figured out how to capture and save footage to a video file. So, I ran for a few more minutes and here’s the result…my very own YouTube video!

  • I counted my strides per minute, and it was 156. Something to work on, as 180 is the ideal.
  • My foot strike actually looks good…landing midfoot under my body most of the time.
  • I think I am leaning from the hips too much, rather than the recommended slight lean from the ankles.
  • The thing that I most notice when I look at this video is that I really need to lose those few extra pounds I put on 🙁
Update: My husband told me that I look alot heavier in the video than in real life. Phew! I wonder if it’s the old adage that “You look heavier on TV “; or is it my cheap little webcam???
