Swimming Tip of the Week: Freestyle Drill: Catch Up

Swimming Tips by Coach Ian Lee of =http://www.thatswimteam.org]THAT Masters Swim Team.

Free Style: Catch-up also called Touch And Pull (TNP) or Touch and Go.

There are many purposes to this drill, some of which are keeping hands out in front of you and trying to achieve an early catch.
    1. You should touch your hands out in front of you every stroke. Most people find this especially hard on breathing strokes.
    2. Arms should remain extended and still until other hand has touched it.
    3. This means you should be in a good streamline before every pull
